I am an associate professor of Computer Science at the
Department of Electrical and Information
Engineering, Faculty of Engineering,
University of L’Aquila.
My research interests cover areas of databases
and artificial intelligence, such as spatio-temporal
databases, geographical information systems, qualitative spatial reasoning,
geospatial ontologies and semantic web.
I am an author of many
publications in international journals and conferences on the above subjects:

I am an Italian representative in the
Management Committee of COST Action TU0801 “Semantic
enrichment of 3D city models for sustainable urban development” to be run
in 2008-2012.
I’m working in the European
Space Agency (ESA) -funded project “Support
to topology” in 2011-12.
