Laura Tarantino received the Laurea degree in Electronic Engineering
from the University of Rome "La Sapienza". From 1987 to 1990 she was Research Assistant at the
Department of Computer Science of the University of Rome "La Sapienza". In October 1990 she joined the
Department of Electrical Engineering
of the University of L'Aquila, Italy, as a Researcher and Assistant Professor in Computer Science, and Associate
Professor since 1998.
Her primary research activity is in human-computer interaction with databases. Her teaching activity is in the Computer Science courses of the School of Engineering. She is Director of the Computing Center of the School of Engineering ( SIFI - Servizi Informatici della Facoltà di Ingegneria). She is in the Steering Committee for the International Working Conference on Advanced Visual Interfaces, AVI. |
