Eugenio Del Re

Eugenio Del Re (DelRe) is a Ricercatore Universitario at the Dipartimento di Ingegneria Elettrica e dell’Informazione (DIEL) of the Università dell’Aquila and an Aggregate Professor of Physics, earning tenureship in 2005. He carries out research in the fields of Nonlinear and Quantum Optics, and teaches Physics for the School of Ingegneria Civile. With Elia Palange in 2003 he co-founded the Laboratorio di Ottica e Fotonica (LaBot) at the DIEL. With a group of Researchers formerly at the Fondazione Ugo Bordoni he co-founded in 2002 TelCon srl, a small research/consulting company operating in the field of optical telecommunications. In 2001 he set up with Bruno Crosignani and Paolo Di Porto the Laboratorio di Ottica (NLOptics) at the Dipartimento di Fisica (Aquila).
