Paolo Di Stefano is currently Full Professor in SSD ING-IND/15 (Design and Methods of Industrial Engineering), and serves at the Mechanical Engineering, Energy and Management Department (D.I.M.E.G.) of the University of L'Aquila.
Educational and work experiences: After graduating in Mechanical Engineering, achieved in July 1987, Prof. Paolo Di Stefano began his career at Fiat Auto in Turin, holding positions of responsibility at the production plants in Sulmona (AQ) and Mirafiori Meccanica in Turin.
He has held the following positions at the University of L'Aquila:

He taught Technical Industrial Drawing at the University of Perugia, branch of Terni, in A.Y 1996-97, 1997-98 and 1998-99.
He was lecturer in the /Specialization School of Secondary Teaching, Interuniversity /of l'Aquila and Chieti. He was principal investigator of a course for Education and Higher Techical Training titled: "Computer Aided Design and Manufacturing"'.
He was II level Master coordinator in "Product Design: Innovation, Development and Design", at the University of L'Aquila.
He was president of research center " Centro di Ricerche Applicate alle Biotecnologie", in Avezzano (AQ), from September 2009 to June 2011.

Luca Di Angelo is currently Assistant Professor in SSD ING-IND/15(Design and Methods for Industrial Engineering), and serves at the Department of Industrial and Information Engineering and of Economics (D.I.I.I.E) of the University of L'Aquila.
Educational and work experiences: After graduating cum laude in Mechanical Engineering, achieved in October 1999 at the Engineering Faculty of the University of L'Aquila, he holds the PhD title in 2002 at the University of "Tor Vergata" in Rome.
In 2004 he was declared the winner in the comparative evaluation procedure to fill the position of Assistant Professorin the SSD ING-IND/15 at the Engineering Faculty of the University of L'Aquila.
From December 2004 to February 2005 he has held research grant at the Mechanical Engineering, Energy and Management Department of the University of L'Aquila, in the SSD ING-IND/15 (principal investigator: prof.  Paolo Di Stefano), for the research project called "Featues Automatic recognition for dfx".
Since 01/03/2005 serves as Assistant Professor at the Mechanical Engineering, Energy and Management Department of the same University; his role was confirmed since 01/03/2008.
Since A.Y. 2005/2006, in quality of Assistant Professor, he is lecturer in the Technical Industrial Drawing course for the Management Engineering degree course.



 Andrea Spezzaneve: after graduating in Mechanical Engineering,achieved at the University of L'Aquila, Andrea Spezzaneve started in November 2009 his activities as PhD student (XXV cycle), titled: ?New applications of Biomedical Industry? (principal investigator: Prof. Eng. Paolo Di Stefano) at the above mentioned University. His research studies are addressed to methodologies development and to the elaboration of Point Clouds acquired by tridimensional scanner, for the detection of typical human body features.
