- Perturbation methods for multiple-bifurcations analysis of multi-parameter systems;
- Stability and bifurcation od discrete and continuous mechanical systems;
- Contact and impact modeling;
- Dynamics and seismic responce of 2D and 3D rigid blocks;
- Static characterization of shell structures;
- Mono and bi-dimensional models of structural fiber-reinforced elements;
- Tuned Mass Damper versus Base Isolation;
- Passive systems (base isolation and TMD) for the protection of non-symmetric rigid blocks;
- Active systems and active mass damper in the protection of rigid blocks-like structures;
- Intermediate structural disconnection to improve the dynamic and the seismic behaviour
  of frame structures;
- improvement of the dynamic and the seismic response of frame structures by the coupling with
  non conventional external devices.
- Analysis of the Effectiveness of Geotechnical Seismic Isolation on Post-Tensioned Rocking Piers.
